WHO IS A FELLOW?

Fellows are the industry’s leading senior executives passionate about solving health care’s greatest challenges.

Each Fellows class represents a broad spectrum of health care expertise, including providers, payers, technology, finance, policy leaders and communications. Each year, new fellows are accepted from a pool of applicants who fit the following criteria:

  • Eager to define complex problems, identify solutions and effect change for the industry.
  • Open to growth in personal leadership skills.
  • Employed by a member of the Nashville Health Care Council, a government employee or a full-time clinician.
  • Part of a health care organization of any size – from privately held and small start-ups to large, publicly-traded corporations or part of a professional services firm supporting the health care industry.
  • Have the endorsement of industry leaders (through two letters of referral) including the CEO of their organization.
  • Able to devote two full days a month in Spring and early Summer for eight class sessions, in addition to outside work that compliments the curriculum.
